I welded this pony in steel and finished sculpting in soft clay and epoxy clay adorned with resin roses, 24 kt gold Italian smalti glass, white gold Italian smalti glass, finished in gold leaf. Although purple and pink are my favorite colors, red is absolutely my favorite color in glass and there are many shades of red in this beautiful pony. "Ubuntu" is a African term that I love, that we are all in this together- as I've said many times, light brings unity and darkness brings chaos. This sweet girl is both femininity and fearlessness all in one to me.
